Guiding The Wise, a Florida-based nonprofit established in 2014, initially dedicated to providing health resources for elder populations, has since evolved into a comprehensive provider of affordable preventive healthcare and wellness services. Our mission is to extend support to low-and-moderate income households and underserved communities, cultivating healthier living across all adult age groups and health stages.

OUR PROGRAMS

Our offerings encompass preventive healthcare services founded on a six-pillar wellness model, prioritizing health education, physical well-being, nutritional support, mental health, self-care, and facilitated access to affordable healthcare services.

OUR PROGRAMS

Eligibility and Target Outreach

Our program warmly welcomes the general public while prioritizing the creation of safe havens tailored to the needs of our intended audience. Our ideal participants encompass:

Adults living in Florida, with special attention to residents of Pasco, Pinellas, and Hillsborough counties.

Low- to moderate-income households, including:

Individuals referred by partnered homeless shelters.
Recipients of Medicaid, EBT (food stamps), or WIC.
Florida Unemployment benefits or SSI.
HUD or Section 8 housing assistance.
Individuals with an annual income of $55,000 or less.

We also prioritize underserved communities, including:

Medicare recipients or senior citizens aged 65 and older.
Residents of rural areas.
Individuals living in medically underserved counties.
